The kit and a set of Lunsfords and I am set. Keeps it more affordable to the masses. I bet at least a year before you see a factory team version.

So you want to pay 12-25 bucks for a set of aluminum hexes, 10-15 bucks for aluminum bell cranks, and 25+ bucks for turnbuckles vs. AE including them all for about another $20 in the kit? All so the aftermarket companies can make more $$. Help me understand your thinking..

Hahahahahahahaha, that's me laughing at all of the haters that have been talking s&#%t all week about the B5. Now they are jelous about what AE did. I can't wait for both cars. Nice work AE, good things are worth waiting for.

for me, I dont really car for the AE turnbuckles. The bend more than the lunsfords and lunsford has a life time warranty against bend/break. I would only get the alum rack it was needed. if its built well, plastic should be fine for 17.5. But yeah, gonna need those hexes.

Don't care if I have aluminum hex's, aluminum bellcranks or aluminum rear hubs for that matter. All stuff I no longer run on my B4.2 that is not needed IMHO.

Hate to burst your bubble, but I am sure a FT version would not be only another $20...

Do you when they will be available? I was hoping in the next 3-4 weeks. But Tower is showing mid March for the B5M.

No jealousy here. I have my B5 killer just waiting to strike. Seriously though I am really excited for this coming year of racing with all the new buggies. Should be very competitve. Hopefully it breathes some new life in to the hobby.

Just pre-ordered both cars from tower. I am sure by next year AE will release factory team cars. Almost seems like a slight downgrade from a b4.2 given all the FT parts I'm giving up.

Mmmmmm so much speculation over a toy car Well, a toy car that rocks anyways! Prices drop over time. By the time a FT kit comes out the team kit will be about $20 cheaper and the FT kit will cost around $40-50 more than the future price of the team kits. So… yeah, it'll only be about $20-30 more than the current prices But honestly, the only reason to wait on the kit right now is so that you don't have to deal with any factory defects and those 'first-batch' problems, all the returns back to the manufacturer, so on and so on.. But those cars definitely look nice! I'm glad to see AE come out with something fresh after all these long years.. First car I bought from AE was the FT T4… 9 ½ years ago

What is the difference in length with B4.2 and B5RM?

Regardless, I now see a B5 and not a B4.3, so like I posted. I have mine on order (FT or not) and will finally be going back to AE, crappy shocks and all.

I do expect it to have the same "sloptastic" quality as previous kits...bummer but oh well.
