My cars bias is 64 36 and comes in at 1599 grams. I am looking forward to pucks and aluminum top shaft. Can lose about 20 more if I take out The Flow and install a Justock. I hate to give up the milliamps with those 3250 packs. But it would be nice and light.

Divide the rear weight of the car by the cars total for the rear bias. It will be 60 something and that's your rear bias. Take that minus 100 and that's the front. It will be 30 something.

Its a great car! You can't go wrong with that purchase!
I have one and am waiting to get one of the B5M's whenever they ship out.

funny thing is I smoked the stock and mod buggy classes outdoors last weekend with my mid motor b5m.. and my car isn't the lightest either..lol
my times were actually faster then 4wd mod.

with running the square battery my buggy comes in at about 1600 grams.

wildcat.. once you get your midmotor I have an awesome outdoor setup for it.
I would really like to see this set up as well if you don't mind rickster

Have you guys moved your rear hubs forward or rear at all? If so why, and what changes did it make?

-Go 1 mm ballstud on the front (crispens up the steering quite a bit)
-For now, just go to 1 mm Ackerman spacer on steering rack without changing trail. Even nicer steering.
-Just a dab of drag brake can help get the front end in the corner.
-For now I'm happy with the shock package using white springs front and rear. Kicking around green for the front for a little more steering. kit 1.6 front and rear pistons 30 wt front and rear. I want to try the tapered 3 hole front tapered pistons. Just don't have them yet.
-For the rest of my setup I am running
-1b on the rear link with 1mm a towers
-Hubs middle
-3 toe 2 anti squat
-1a on front link with 1mm
-Shorty with 1 skinny pad in the back for mod 2 skinny for stock.

Car is an animal

Dax
Dax.....thanks man I'm going to give these adjustments a try tomorrow. One question is what location is your front hubs? Mine are all the way forwards as far as spacing

My front hub are spaced forward. I have only had the car for 3 weeks. I am new to mid motor and only make 1 change at a time to really see the affect. I run stock on Wednesday nights at The Loft because it's a really consistent racetrack and I know exactly where my lap and race times should be, so its perfect for testing changes. My mid motor is faster then my 1504 gram B4 already.

if you haven't already..
move the front shocks inward both top and bottom
less trailing steering
heck change the wheel base around to transfer more weight

beyond that.. slow down? use brakes? I'm about out of ideas.. could try rear swaybar but that's more of a last resort. Probably would be better off changing rear links if the rear is that locked in.
Ok makes since. I'll try that shock setup since it's and easy change. Going to try one thing at a time.

To be honest man that battery is very impressive. I ran for ten minutes with no real drop in power. Was really shocked since my 90c 4800mah drops in power around the 7-8 minute mark

Sooooooooo mod guys, do you like the square or shorty packs? I have only tried the shorty and was woindering if the extra weight of the squre would help further. I need to buy a new pack and was thinking of a square. if it's not worth it then I'll skip it. I rum on mid to high traction indoor clay.

After I read the last few pages I'm glad I got out of the stock class! It is way too much worrying about weight!

All this talk about push and nobody asking what his ride height is? May want to confirm your not running a higher ride height in the front......
