I'm right there with you...tempting to buy and I do want to try the MM car. But duplicating a class doesn't make a lot of sense for me. I'd love to see a T5 come out so that I can get into another class. Hopefully one that grows as 4wd buggies did this past season.

I contacted AE customer support just to ask if they had an estimate as to when more B5m kits would be released. Here is the response...

Thank you for contacting customer support. The kits should be coming in towards the end of this month. Unfortunately, we fell a little behind but, we are starting to get caught up. We apologize for the delay.
Name omitted to protect the innocent!

Sad panda...

Let's hope they are just being conservative and we will still see this thing starting to hit shelves in another week or so like the hobby retailer sites suggest.

I would get the Losi one the racers edge is actually a little tall. RM did use it but only because he could not get the correct losi version.

So given that they make 3 different AL horns, which one is the correct version? I'm guessing it is either the 22 or the 22-4 and not the older one which is larger and I believe basically for 1/8 and 4wd SCT applications.

I have both. I run the B5 in stock and the B5M in mod. I bought another B5 at the track Saturday. The mid is going on the shelf for now. It takes a lot less effort for me to drive the rear motor car.

the 22 horn is 4-40 threaded. Not 3mm. Unsure on the 22-4

I don't myself, but some people do, it's a matter of opinion.
But I race indoor only though.

Been out of the loop for a while, so can you elaborate on why people punch homes in the tires? I image it is partly due to moisture?

Back in the day we used to drill holes in the rims, but we didn't use foam and our tires were never glued so it wasn't as big of an issue.

Next question/comment...

I still cannot get used to these cab forward (IMHO "stealth fighter") bodies. Has anyone heard if there are any "traditional" bodies in the works? Something a little more like the original B4 body?
