I heard there's a mod that you can do to add a crush washer but I haven't seen it The plastic parts fit perfect and work perfect so that's what's installed right now. Maybe down the road I'll find this mod and do it, but for now, no thanks.
I did the crush washer mod on the akerman rack and works great. Never had a screw back out on the aluminum rack. There needs to be a crush sleeve on the long screws that thread into the top plate. The mod was on B5 Nation FB page.

Basically you use the 1mm blue AE ballstud washer between the bearings in the akerman rack. you have to ream out the hole between the two bearings enough to allow the washer to fit. it was a 5 min mod.

What's going on my ride if ever arrives...

Not seen any problems with..

Brings precise steering compared to the less stiff plastic.

If you don't want to "fight" with the wiring to fit the esc and rx down on the chassis, the car does come with an optional receiver tray/bridge. Most don't use it but it's an option.

Sold the one Scott was holding for me, thought no big as Ae will send more.

Dude !
Ae don't even have the spare parts , who would think they even sell a ride with out parts available ?

They used to stock the parts weeks before, now they have customers waiting and can't build or even fix the thing.

Sure hope they get it together soon.

Sean !!!!

Where's the inserts for the alloy arm mounts ?

When ??????

When I am on quarter throttle or less, it's really choppy and makes some grinding noise. My diff was broken in and it's really smooth. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Stiffer rear spring and more antisquat (unless you have 2 degrees already)

Just a thought maybe your gear mesh is off. Check to see if your pinion is smashed up against your spur gear
