Just an FYI everyone....for now when running a thick wing...I took the wing spacers off my B4 and everything fits pretty good.

Seriously...STFU!!

You don't run on the type of tracks they are talking about so how in the world could YOU possibly have any CLUE on how a MM car behaves on tracks you don't set foot on??!!! If YOU personally have NOT done it....then STFU and stop spreading USELESS BS on here!! If YOU have not personally done exactly what they are asking about....then DON'T speak on it! Only fools speak on things they have no experience with!!

I think if you run the wing, without any spacers on the wing mount, you are running a 3 degree wing angle.
With the wing spacer underneath the wing, with the thicker end to the rear of the car, you would be at 6 deg.
With the wing spacer underneath the wing, with the thicker end towards the front of the car, you would be at 0 deg. This is how it was on the B4 to my knowledge.

Sean would need to confirm...

Steve, have you driven anyone's B5m yet?

Wing angle, IIRC you're right but an AE rep would need to confirm...Not a fanboy, an actual rep.

lol, Several have tried the MM on my local outdoor track and although it can "work", it is a far cry from ideal or easy to drive. When the MM is good, they love it. When traction drops half way into the heat, they are hating their lives. We can litterally go from pulling wheelies to spinning out over a 6 minute heat if its windy. The wind pulls the water right out of the track. From my personal experience, you can make the MM work in more places IF you at least have fairly consistent traction. When you have drastic changes in traction during the race, MM is crap IMO. That has been my experience.

Stainless is the same weight as stock screws and more prone to breakage. Stainless is usually softer than regular steel used in screws. (I say "usually" because there are all sorts of hardness ratings for steel)

But it is shiny.

hate to tell you but I watched Mike Gay destroy everyone all summer long last year with a Centro outside on track that was low bite and sandy. M3 Holeshots front and rear type of track.

It is 100% driver preference. When he got his B5 a few months ago and had to run it here, he was significantly slower than he was with his Centro. As soon as he got his B5M, he was significantly faster than the Centro. And this was on a medium grip surface that is dominated by Rear Motor cars.

Like I said.... it's driver.
