Dunno why - they were talking about Hartsen. I don't know what he was running.

Ok guys i have the 3mm insert on the front and a 1mm water instead of the 2mm on the ball stud on the front shoch tower. And my car is still pushing. Any other tuning options?

xghost.... just doing something with the front may not take care of push.. setting up the back of the car and battery and tires make as much of a difference as anything up front. what springs r u running? shock positions? all makes a difference... you should have so much steering your trying to dial it out.

on building your kits.. take your time and sand , smooth and polish all the ball ends, hinge pins, and any rough edges on plastic.. don't over tighten things.. you shouldn't feel like you need a torque wrench when building your car.. simply tighten till it snugs and good.. no need to go all gorilla on it.

I have found that you can drive 3 kits built by 3 different people with the same setups.. and if one takes time to build the kit it will feel way better then the other 2.

I dont like to sand arms until they are run a little. The tranny is not binding tight like it wrong. just not as free as others. On the upside, the 1 7/8 lunsford I bought for the turnbuckles seem fine.

1 7/8? isn't that a bit long? The B5 kit I bought came with 1 3/4 for the steering links and 1 5/8 for the camber links. I guess I don't have to worry about bottoming my turnbuckles out...

Did you go to 1mm on steering for standard Akermann?

40mm Kyosho turnbuckles fit well for me. Only issue for me in the build was a user error with a gearbox spacer, car build is awesome as good as kyosho/yoko/xray and little better than losi. The low friction cups are not as free as I would like them, but I put a drop of shock oil through the holes and they are awesome now.

If you use carbide should replace them .
They flat spot if the diff slipped.

Replace with ceramic balls, they will never flat spot and can be used over & over saving you money ...
