the axles are different, B5 is metric, B4.2 is SAE. Using a clamp on version should allow you to use them on both.

I suppose I should clarify. The offset is identical I believe the axle bore is smaller on the B5 part due to the imperial vs metric difference...the B4.2 hex does clamp on though.

Broke the 25 deg. Front bulkhead today, luckily in the main. My normal to go shops don’t have them, or Tower. So going to toss the 30 deg. In until I find a 25 deg.
How will the different bulkhead, 30deg vs. 25deg, affect the front of the car?

Vito
Good to see your interested in the B5.

The new car is awesome, builds great & very durable compared to the B4.

Cherry-keep the great thoughts/comments/info coming--no reason for people to make derogatory comments about you answering a question--those are the "ones" that tend to bring the forum experience down.
Back on topic--when the heck are the flat front arms gonna be available?!?!?!

well your battery is 100 grams lighter right there. And I know I have some extra wire because I left it longer purposely for the first little bit until I know that I'm leaving stuff where it's at.

You're also running a low profile servo and I'm not. Between that and the battery, there's your difference there.

When I build a 17.5 car, it will be under weight and have a lightened drive train.

I also took the alum bell cranks off. I can't get the screw to stay threaded on it. Keeps backing out even with thread lock. I have to think about how to make it work. For now it goes in the box.
