Evo

Appears the servo is to big for the car.

That is a standard sized servo...the case just bulges out slightly in the wrong spot. Yes, remove the washer and all is good.

I followed step for step on the build with my S6040 and had no issues.

I think you're mistaken?

From what my eyes see, "The Ryan's" were not running a B5m tower w/ flat arms at Cactus. They have the correct B5-RM tower to go with the flat arms. The AE setup sheet that NeoBuggy released, as well as the pics of Maifield's B5m reflect this. Check out the pics.

For the same reasons people buy 300w power supplies for $100 when they could convert a 575w server power for $15 and 20 mins of their time. More money than sense, and snobbery (ohhh, look at me...I gotz de bestess). I run Speed Passion and Toro ESC's. There's nothing the over priced big boys do that they can't.

You basically just said...

They weren't running a B5-RM tower with flat arms, they were running a B5-RM tower with flat arms.

pass whatever it is you smoke, cuz it's some good ish!!

Stuff like that, (hypocritical, contradictory, erroneous info) is what ruins the AE threads...and it almost always seems to come from you!!

Everyone needs to stop jumping on the bandwagon of "hating" and making snide comments about wild cherry. He has good info to share here. He makes these threads more useful unlike all these people talking non sense about him. (Btw I do not know cherry) let's have fun racing the b5 and share good info

Don't use the washer n with a xacto knife cut a little material off the link so it can pass smooth right next to the servo.....n you will have full throw! Anyone complaining of poor steering prob has the washer installed
I had the same issue with my Solar D770. Saw it while building and removed it.

Not mistaken at all. I said WHEN the ryan's do it. Never said they DID

I guess it went over your head, Point being evrything the pro's do people who don't have their talent will try. kinda like all the crying over cactus setups, who races a sugared outdoor track weekly???

It cracks me up that i say a guy i race with did it and liked it , and you keep saying it won't work cause sean said so...lol

And i am also racing a b5m on a low traction track, but it won't work for that either, right?
