Anyone know how this buggy feels compared to the Yokomo B-Max2 V2 MR in MM config?

I started with the setup Kody posted on RC10.com, From there my only changes are white front springs and tapered pistons of the same hole configuration. It seems to work pretty well for me.

I was having a lot of issues last night with the foam U coming up and my shorty shifting in the compartment.

I was also thinking it would be nice to have a U shaped ballast to help get me up to weight without adding a bunch of loose weights or messing up the weight balance.
Put a piece of servo/double sided tape on each side of the u foam to hold it in.

Thanks for the input guys, Avid told me to use stock AE spring & retainer. Possibly needing to adjust for the different spring.

This is the second time I've contacted them (Avid) via email, both times they got back to me in less than a day. I like that.

I like the yokomo, one of the factory drivers was at my track. The yokomo is smooth a lot more steering but the price point is high

What's the difference in performance between the Avid Triad and the AE VTS slipper?

More consistent or?

Personally I think the AVID holds its setting better and it is lighter which is good for stock racing. It seemed like i was constantly adjusting both the 2 and 3 pad AE setup, with the triad it has been a set it and forget it item for the most part.

Is anyone using the Garodiscs from RCShox in their B5 with either the VTS or Triad:

VTS

Triad

Any reviews on these? Are the Garodiscs an improvement over the stock pads?

I don't run them in my b5 currently but I used to run them in my sc10 4x4 and they where awesome. They don't fade and you never have to replace them. Great product. I stand by rcshox 100%. I also love his 2 stage pistons. World of difference with how my car handles and reacts.

I like the JC uncut Protectors. Cheap and last longer than the precut ones for me.

The VTS in the B5 is exactly the same at the VTS in the B4.2, etc. Correct?

I also like the uncut JC protectors the only reason I would buy a precut is if I get a personalized one
