That is what I found with the Centro. I could not run the same timing and gear with the motor inside the car as I could with the B4.2. Temps were much higher with the Centro and the lack of air flow was the reason.

oh and just so you guys know ... I helped a friend building his new serpent mid and low and behold he had 2 parts missing in his kit and his shocks had some issues with no threads..lol

I had to laugh..

Back in the old MADE IN USA days, AE kits almost never had parts missing. Maybe a screw or something very tiny. And built a lot of those kits up.

Looks like Ashe Deering TQ'd round 1 at the CC with a RM B5 17.5. So I guess the car works on high bite

Has anyone tried the aluminum shock mounts. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but there is a ton of slop between the shock mount and the hole in the shock cap

Yes, with the same results. Their either has to be an insert for use with the plastic shock caps or they must only be for use with the aluminum shock caps.
