I would suggest just switching over to hex. You don't need as many front tires as you do rear, so it isn't as expensive to switch the fronts to hex.

What's so bad about 5mm bullets?

Yeah, I don't see a big deal spending $4 or something and a minute to solder on new bullets.
Maybe if you change between two different batteries often it might be a downer, but for ME, once I find what I like, I don't change it much.
In that case, spend a couple minutes and solder up an adapter.
But that's just me, I like an excuse to solder something.

I wired up my car yesterday at the track. Didn't run it in the race but I did take a few laps in practice. The car has a little bit of push but overall I'm very impressed with the handling, jumping, and the overall build go the kit was great.
I run reedy sonic 2 17.5 and have the car geared 33/72. Shocks have 32.5wt 2x1.6t front and 30wt with 3x1.5t rear. Also have no washers on ball stud the the rear brace
One thing that happened while practicing is that the ball stud on the rear hubs needs locktight on it because it turns itself out. Or replace the ball stud with the longer one and put a nut on in.
