Promatch always has top notch batteries at discounted price compared to others. I am ordering some of these as well. $85 is less than anyone else's square packs. I'm sure they will be the same or better performing as well.

The fact that promatch is actually confident enought to send u a sheet that shows how the battery you just received tested should speak for its self!

Don't like triad because I'll have to buy all new avid spurs. Don't like locker because that seems it will be too hard on the drivetrain. No big I'll live with it

I mount my battery all the way back as well.

Avid Triad comes with a spur gear.... and the replacement spurs cost the same as others.

My understanding is that the gull wing arms provide more steering.

The flat arms take away steering.

Being that that the Cactus race is ultra sugar high bite they should not need more steering..

both steer about the same,

straight arms dump over less & the car stays more flat in the corner though.

So running straight arms shortens the up travel of the shock, limiting roll in the front, minimizing the chance to traction roll? Wouldn't they have more droop then? or need more internal limiters?

The difference between the packs is freaking night and day. We'll let time be the judge I say.

There is a reason for that!!! Have not tried their square packs but would not buy another shorty from them. I'll be waiting until Hacker (Aero-Model) comes out with one
