Default after practice

after practice i noticed my front shock tower was broken ... one of the guys that races there has a machine shop . i removed the tower and he took it home and repaired it .
he used carbon fiber first he took the tower and put epoxy to the broken pieces let dry . he then made it flat so the piece he cut would fit . once i got to the track first thing he made sure it would fit the car . he then epoxied the carbon fiber to the tower . and installed on my car . it worked great and thanks to Lars i wouldn't have been able to race . i have a new tower coming monday .

i ran that tower in morning practice and through three qualifiers and the main

if anyone is looking for Lunsford Ti turnbuckles, these are repackaged as Yokomo and are the length needed...

Best ae build ever. I can see why they did an aluminum screw kit. Most pieces ae keyed so the screw is just holding them together. Should be much stress on it. The only problem I had was the slipper. Either the spur is to small or the vts plastic is a little to big because those really didn't want to go together. Triad is going on it soon anyway

i must be looking at the wrong place or my manual comes with different screws because they did not have 1 that matched.

Since it is all keyed, is the b5 screw kit more complete than the b3 screw kit was?

ran the car yesterday first time. my b4.2 was a luv hate thing depending on the day. the b5 was great need to work the push out but other than that. its great. only down side car cost me the win because of well it jumps it jumped to far and landed in the middle of the tubes b4.2 would not of did that. whats the best thing to get rid of the push its got tons of turn in at first then its like it fades away.

I went ahead and got a JC c4.2 finnisher body to run since I can't get any b5 bodies locally. I actually wanted a finnisher anyway since that's what the b44.2 has, so we'll see how it goes.

I've seen a C4.2 body on a B5rm, it's nearly perfect.

Build went well, electronics packaging was TIGHT! Can't wait to hit the track

I have the TLR22 Lunsford kit, same EXACT length as the stock parts.

Hobbywing V3, with 4 bank caps
Airtronics/Sanwa RX451R reciever, had to mount on its side
Lunsford b4 Shock mounts
