I did a count on hardware for the B5 going through the manual and figured I'd share if anyone is looking to put their spare parts in order as well. I did notice a couple of the screws listed on the hardware page are not used for the RM kit so I assume they're shown due to their use in the MM kit.

NOTE: I included all the optional set screws on the suspension and only accounted for ball shims as the stock setup shows. Shock rings, spacers, seals etc. are not accounted for here at this time as well. E-clips i did count since they were shown on the hardware page.

This is the info I got on sensor wire length.
I'm hoping the wire that came out of my c4.2 is going to work..

Can you confirm what sensor wire length is ideal?

So how many of you are running the hard "steering block"? That's the spindle with the trailing inserts. I remember someone saying it helped on their car. George? What hard parts are important?

Wayne,

I was pretty close to what you posted here. Had brown in front with 30wt and black in rear with 25 wt with 1mm still on the steering rack. Started to go off the rails and added weight - knew I wanted to start over at that point. Yanked the weight and went over to your posted setup for a try. Was wondering if you had experimented with the .5 rear hub. I had it and the 30 degree kick up in and couldnt decide if it added more push than helped the rear end. Plan to be running it tonight at Kcrc.

Already driven with both .
Differences between the two on the track is very small.

The new plastic is already a lot stiffer the old b4 plastic which explains why .

175mm would be ideal but we are using 200mm.

So it seems like there are a few complaints of pushing with the B5 and all of the setups I've seen show the 25* kick up being used. Anyone tried the 30*?

I use the 30* based on a post early in the thread and feel that the car has plenty of steering with an otherwise mostly stock setup, no added weight and a shorty (stock racing) in the rear position.

I made adjustments else where to my car to get it to turn and rotate. I have 0 issues with steering or grip.

I think the big fix for the push is going to the 3mm front insert setup. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Most of the newer team setups seem to go this route.
