I'm going to be running the 13.5 for the mean time. Will this reedy fit?

Or I was thinking the Orion saddles. Or the Reedy saddles.

First race day in the books with the B5. I'm in love. Haha, it drives great, jumps great, and allows me to drive aggressively. Used Brent Thielke's setup as-is (close to the stock set-up), and actually haven't felt the need to change a thing yet.

I rolled my eyes at all the guys talking about tie rods, and which ti options might work. Rolling my eyes no longer, I did bend a front one. It held up through the qualifier, and bent right back, but will be bulletproofing these items soon.

Default What xtra parts to order with B5M?????????

Wondering what parts to include with my B5M order. Do not want to be caught without a needed part on race day. Also want suggestions on upgrades (I.e. turnbuckles, etc) Thanks

Default Which one is the best?

So, have there been any comparisons between the 5rm and the 5mm? Have the people that have driven both think one is better than the other?

I have run a variety of pack from hobbyking to Orion to SMC, etc. I think my best experience has been with the Orion.

Where do you plan on racing? The reason I ask is that most racing here in the valley is 17.5 or Mod. I think SRS may run a super stock 13.5 class but I don't think it is that common. I just wanted to ensure you were making the right decision before buying any motors

I bought the last one my local shop had today. Going to run a SMC 17.5, Hobbywing Just Stock Club Spec ESC, Reedy 65c/4100 shorty and Savox 1258 servo. This will be the newest car I've had in several years.

What about these Proteks? Are the Proteks known for swelling? I've read some reviews on Amain.

I'm using a 13.5 (viper vst) motor, but will be going to 17.5 as well. I'm still wondering if I can use the Trinity D 3.5 until they make the 4th one or just get a different brand. I was planning on competing at Dirt Invert. Also, just wanted to get a feel for the buggy since this is my first.

Ran the B5 some more this weekend. Keep making chabges to see how the car likes it. Started 5th in stock buggy and finished 3rd. Was extremely happy with that performance.

I did break a part this weekend. The c block in the rear had the hinge pin pull out of it and oblong the hole so I bought the ft aluminum piece with the inserts. Amazing. Now there is literally 0 slop in the rear arms. Also bought the ft front pin brace.

I now have so much rotation and steering my dual rate is down to 96.

Newest setup for a smooth, indoor clay, high bite track.

Front:
32.5
Ft 2x1.6 tapered pistons
Black spring
3mm trailing
Stock ackerman
Gold jc slicks and homemade tire sauce
20mm ride height
1* toe out
-1* camber

Rear:
30
FT 2x1.6 tapered pistons
White spring
3+2 c block
.5 in hubs for 3.5 rear toe in
-1* camber
21mm ride height
Gold slicks homemade tire sauce
