As far as I know, we've always been able to run rb6 rears on both cars, but fronts require a very tiny amount of material to be removed from the front hex in the wheel -- meaning the AE hexes fit in, and the dimensions are right as far as track width/size, but the hex part of the wheel rubs on the car. I wouldn't suggest getting rb6 front wheels, but if you have some laying around, just a little sanding will make them work.

Cherry and Racer; He's here to help:

Bhammer and Razathorn,

Are you guys having issues with the stock turnbuckles or are they another brand?

The stock turn buckles are great for getting the kit together, but they bend easily, the paint chips and rusts almost immediately. I have JC Fins that are just awaiting someone to get in rod ends so I can order and install them. Atleast this way I can save the stocks for spares.

I did break one in the past with my B2 back in the day, but assuming since they looked the same the quality hasn't changed. Hopefully they hold up.

Meh... I kinda like old George (WC). Sure seems like he puts up with a lot of abuse here on these forums, but still comes on and tries to help where he can.

I got some laying around. I'll use them. Thanks! Does the kit come with white wheels then?

So is the feeling to go shorty on the mid motor over the square / saddle setup?

Dr. Phil, I asked him months ago, he said "ban him" I thought he was being a little harsh..maybe I was wrong

AE Ti turnbuckles, I have the set off my b4.1 that got the crap beat out of it for 2 years now on my B5. I don't see taking them off anytime soon.

So in your fellas opinions, what are the spares to pick up right away?

Thinking the usual suspension parts like a-arms, etc. but maybe I need to get ball ends too it sounds like? etc?

Only part I've seen break..a rear axle.

The way the car is built and the "robust" nature of the suspension parts, I can't think of what would break first.

I have 2 sets of front arms I got because I figured they may be an issue like on the b4 platform but I'll likely never use them.

Plastics are different/WAY better too.

Honestly, you're gonna have to TRY and break this car, IMO.

My, and many others, issue with Cherry isn't his race results. He races at a track that has several top level and factory drivers. I don't question all of his info either. I question how he posts it, which is whether or not the info came from his OWN testing or if it's info he got from AE drivers and then tested himself. Then posting it here as his own.

The fact that I have an issue with Cherry isn't a secret. Why do I care that he claims to be an AE "teammate", posts set up info that may or may not actually be his?? Because I'm here to serve the members of this forum, and when I know someone is flat out lying to people, I'm gonna say something! I've asked him to clarify or explain himself in the past, he ignores me because he likes the attention. Which is funny because that's what he claims anyone who questions him is looking for. He can stack his cookies and put condoms on his legs all he wants. I'm not going anywhere!

That's my last comment about this issue.

If George has comments about he car, he can make it clear where he gets the info from. If not, he can quietly wait until he actually buys the MM car.
