When we use these forums we can't see each other's facial expressions or body language, and any good salesman will tell you that you can ignore most of what a potential customer says and just focus on those cues if you want to make the sale!

Alright guys, you want to know why gull-wing arms on the MM then here it goes:
Shock angle progressiveness. Arm shock mounts like the OG RC8 and the T4 produce a softer shock the more it is compressed, OTH the lower the shock mount relative to arm the harder the shock gets the more it is compressed. That's why the MM gets a "stiffer" front shock package by design than the RM variety.

What excites me about this car is actually what it says about their next 4wd car. The ball diffs will be upgraded. Larger rear bearings with captured pin cv's. Beefier arms, etc.

I'm the same way. A few years ago I didn't pay much attention to cutoffs and my packs wouldn't last long. Now I time all my runs so pack is never below 3.8 per cell. I have Nano-Tech packs that I bought 3 years ago and they are still going strong.

Got a couple shorties the middle of last year and they were swelled a little out of the package. I emailed them and they said it was normal because the case was thin and they stuff as much battery as possible into it or something like that. They seemed to run fine but didn't like the fact that they were pre-puffed. Decent for the price but there are better options out there in my opinion.

I got some of these and they work great. A little more than SMC and a little less than ProTek packs but as good or better than anything out there. And I know a guy who will discharge at 20amps and immediately recharge at 40amps in blinky and they show no signs of puffing/damage.
