I pulled my FT Blue Titanium ones off my B4.2 and compared to the B5 kits and they're identical. Don't know why everyone's making a fuss, just order titanium kits that fit a B4.2. The B5's rod ends feel like they have a larger diameter initially so you can push the turnbuckle into them slightly before they grab if anyone's worried about the thread being to shallow. My b4.2 ones worked like a charm.

I think Kody confirmed they're identical early on in this thread too.

Multiple confirmations, some just like to make it harder than it is.

Finally finished it, just waiting for a shorty pack. Not sure why the paint looks yellow but it's actually like a safety cone orange.

I have a full set of FT turnbuckles, a B4 Lunsford set, and a B4.2 Lunsford set, all 3 were different. The B4 Lunsford as 2 shorter (for the rear I think) and the 4.2 has 2 longer for steering. All are different from the FT buckles and stock buckles. Both Lunsfords have less of a threaded area than the FT and stock buckles. THEY ARE NOT THE EXACT SAME. They work if you ream out the ends of the callcups and lube the threads with grease, but I will call anyone out as BS if they say they are the same. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME.

Why is this on page 3! Subscribed, ordered mine today. Tower super saver deal lured me in. Maybe I'll have it by May! Sounds like they could be here in SoCal by month end.

The stock B5 kit comes with 6 at 2.06". It seems like there would be quite a bit less thread engagement on the shorter Lunsfords, but what the heck do I know.
Yep, that's what he mentioned the kit would have. That's why I've been telling you guys to call them or contact them direct.

the ti turnbuckles that came with my ft 4.2 are exactly the same as the b5 tb's when laid next to each other on my kit. Maybe I got a special one...I can take pics if needed... (my last turnbuckle comment lol)

If I wouldn't get dinged at the boarder, I'd get a B5 in a heart beat.

Is anybody running the Orion r10 with the huge cap and a futaba 614 Rx? It's a huge RX. Hoping it fits.

***EDIT*** My bad. I don't know why I thought it was the 614. It's actually the R2104GF. It's huge.

I'm running mine. You know how some people are, have to have the latast and greatest and they still can't drive 5 minutes without crashing. I drove my B5 today for the first time and put it threw hell. I got smacked by a few SC trucks, landed on by a 1/8 buggy and went of a jump sideways and landed straight on one of the front wheels. To my surprise nothing broke at all. I really don't know how nothing broke. One tuff car. I was so worried about breaking something since I will have to order any parts but first day out I'm am very impressed with the durability

Ft and stock B5 are the same. What I was saying was that B4.2 FT, Lunsford B4, and Lunsford B4.2 were all different.

Still using stock on mine. However, I did bend the front left camber by running under a wood structure that isn't normally on the track. Bent it back and it's been fine, even for a full race day with practice! Ti would be better for now though.

Ouch on the wood smack. Has anyone used other rims besides AE. I have a quite large collection of new tires mounted on kyosho rears. Will they werk?
