I did lose a left front wheel when my blue loc-tited axle screw came apart on the second battery. Assumed it was a bad design like the TLR22 front wheel bolt that does the same thing till you have blue loc-tite'd it a few times (one isn't enough on either). I'll have to check this every battery pack I guess No kit is perfect and that screw is really short.

How long is the internal thread in the axle? Motor spray and loctite on a longer screw (e.g. M3x8 or M3x10) with more thread in contact should keep your wheel where it belongs.
Anyone looking for .25mm shims, AvidRC offers a so-called clutch bearing shim set in a handy little container. AV-SHIM-525

Asking for some help and an explanation. I've ordered the aluminum hexes front and rear for my buggy. Will I need different front axles?

Proline Ion's are what i run @ 702 but some guys are trying jconcept splitters and AKA typo's. All seem to work really well.

No. The Finnisher RB6 series of bodies will fit. The 4.2 body is too wide and leave about a 3/4 to 1" gap on either side.
