Brandon's axle accually bent, I think it broke when he tried to straighten it. He wasnt exactly easy on it the night he bent it. It was on its maiden voyage.

rear axle..Odd to see Brandon R. break one, and then have anouther guy post the same thing. Just makes me worry about a QC issue on a new car.
Rear axles are usually odd breaks, I agree.

The front bearing, the only thing holding the inner guides from hitting the sleeve is a thin piece of plastic on the trailing pill. Over tightening would easily pull the axle in hard enough to pull in the inner bearing, and the hex push the outer bearing in hard to where now you are litterally CRUSHING the crush tube, so instead of your bearings gliding freely on the axle, they are locked in. I would notice this alot growing up inline speed skating, we always ran floating axle guides instead of fixed for these reasons.

These are only my opinions, I would love to see a company take a 2wd buggy and do a stress test on it in controlled environment with .001ms delay video, and even heat transferring thermal imaging just to see exactly how much stress these little 3.5lbs cars actually take.

My car will be here a week from today!!! Have any of you tested the trailing arm positions and caster block positions, if so, what happened with the car after each adjustment and what did you settle with? Tell us what your track's traction level is too.

It is actually a .5mm traxxas part so in order to get it to 2.25 he had to take the 2.0mm crush tube and sand it down to 1.75 and then add the .5mm traxxas part to get to 2.25mm.

Now if you can find a .25mm shim with the same outer diameter then you have the golden ticket and no additional work is needed.

I race at a track that is predominately 22's so I decided to create some rivalry and shelf my own 22 and ordered a B5. One thing I'm hoping those of you that have your kits could clarify for me...are the inserts for the toe and camber link adjustments included in the kit or are these optional parts?

I would believe so, but I don't have a b4.2, but I do have a 44.2 and they are the same size.
