It was just a simple comparison. My point is pucks should work for a 2wd vehicle very easily.

Lets put it this way. A driver at my track uses the blades on the front of his 4wd buggy with zero issues. These blades are from a touring car offering from the same company. So it works, LOL

It's the million dollar question James. Or, I should say, the $70 question. As long as the main gear(teeth) and i.d. of the outdrive bearings are the same size, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

If the axle side of the CVD, is different sized for bearings, length, or something else, maybe MIP will provide a retrofit part. Who knows.

The $70 question can't answered %100. None of us even have it!

See above posts. Axles will not work which is the puck system. Can't use diff without axles.

I would think with how far into production everything is and with shipping times from overseas, the chassis is already finalized. It takes a lot more time than people think for production to be scheduled, run, packed and shipped.

The diff is special to the axles. You have to use both.

As mentioned below you need the driveshafts to use the diff and you need the axles to use the driveshafts. Wont work. I was actually looking at adapting the puck system for my PRS1. It would involve the same amount of parts as the B5. Hubs, bearings, axles, driveshafts, outdrives.
