as long as you clip the ears off the amb transponder it will fit, I got mine to fit with no issues

Sure wish they (Assoc) would source better diff rings, took a lot of sanding on the diamond plate to get them mostly flat. I ordered a fast pro kit and requested extra 2 balls to make it a B5 set instead of B4. Hope they read they're e-mails before they ship.

What I meant was I used my B4.2 chassis (rear motor) to "estimate" where the ESC and motor would be on a B5M and measured the length. I don't have anything longer than 100mm right now, which is why I need to get a new one.

Low-profile servo: Has anyone tried to install a LP servo standing up? Of course you would have to use another steering link.

Does the servo sit on the bottom of the chassis or is it floating?

well a shorty is what square pack is what 70mm + 5mm fpr the thickness of the box, you need another 30-50mm to plug into the esc. then what another 50-60 to exit the battery box and hook into the motor. So at least 175-200mm is what I would guess.

Is there a space inside the top plate to mold weight into?

Is it possible the ring was warped? If the material is of uniform thickness and the out-drive plate is flat then under pressure it should even out. If you grind a warped ring flat, then it would become wavy (due to uneven thickness) once a perfectly flat backing surface were pressed against it.

You could always use molding clay, not sure how well it would stay though.

On the other hand, looks like the serpent is sold. Wonder if my LHS takes paypal?

Cool. So if Maiflield wins with with RM against a field of MM, is the B5 better than MM or is Maifield just so fast he would win with tyco
