Guess you will be racing a clear buggy

Spray outside with a blow dryer while you are painting it. There may be a few cracks in the paint, but better than nothing

If you have a garage with an opener you can crack it 2' off the ground and paint in the garage. It is not that much fumes on these little 1/10 bodies.

Ran the b5 in the 2nd qual last night. Pulled a ballstud on rear hub so didn't get to finish, but some new tires and the car will be perfect .

Yea but the garage isn't heated so it's still like 35 deg in the garage. The cold temp is going to affect the paint right?

On this scale I dont believe so, it will just dry slower. Since you are just can bombing it, one thin to medium coat every 15 minutes should give you a good paint job, good enough to run it.

use the blow dryer on the spray can. It needs the heat to make it spray better. if the body is roughly room temp inside then you won't need to heat it up. just hit a few spots with paint, then use blow dryer gently to dry it.

wouldn't hurt to take a trash bag and split it open to cover the ground so you aren't coloring everything.

if for some reason no hair dryer.. fill up the sink with hot water. put your spray can inside a sammich baggy and hold it in the water for a few minutes.

These are all proven methods. The important thing is to get that paint warm otherwise its like watching a baby spit out baby food lol.

I heated the can to the point the bottom pops and became a outtie instead of a inner.

If I have to spray a body indoors, I head to the bathroom, rinse the bathtub and all the surrounding tiles with water, put the body in a cardboard box and spray it. Immediately after I am done, I rinse away any overspray, rub everything clean and open the window. In the case of multi-color paintjobs, make sure to rinse the tub and tiles everytime you leave the paint to dry.
That's the last body I did this way, did not turn out too bad.

We've got 10" of snow on the ground right now so I think I'm good with no trash bag.

Ok heat the can...and I can get everything ready inside and then run out and spray, that won't be an issue. Just don't want the fumes in the house. Does warming the body help at all?
