Ok I just realized I have a huge issue that could prevent me from racing my B5 this weekend. Where the hell do I paint the body? So I had given in and was just going to spray bomb the kit body so I could race but it's a hit of 21 deg today and tomorrow, and 26 on Saturday so I can't paint it outside. And no fume hood so I can't really do it inside.

use the blow dryer on the spray can. It needs the heat to make it spray better. if the body is roughly room temp inside then you won't need to heat it up. just hit a few spots with paint, then use blow dryer gently to dry it.
wouldn't hurt to take a trash bag and split it open to cover the ground so you aren't coloring everything.

if for some reason no hair dryer.. fill up the sink with hot water. put your spray can inside a sammich baggy and hold it in the water for a few minutes.
These are all proven methods. The important thing is to get that paint warm otherwise its like watching a baby spit out baby food lol.

I heated the can to the point the bottom pops and became a outtie instead of a inner.

If I have to spray a body indoors, I head to the bathroom, rinse the bathtub and all the surrounding tiles with water, put the body in a cardboard box and spray it. Immediately after I am done, I rinse away any overspray, rub everything clean and open the window. In the case of multi-color paintjobs, make sure to rinse the tub and tiles everytime you leave the paint to dry.
That's the last body I did this way, did not turn out too bad.

Ok heat the can...and I can get everything ready inside and then run out and spray, that won't be an issue. Just don't want the fumes in the house. Does warming the body help at all?
