True. Once qualifiers start only 2 batteries are needed. I guess I was suggesting for practicing and tuning times.

In my B5m I typically use the Reedy 4100 shortys. I do have a couple wolf pack shortys I use as well in the 44.3

In the T5 I use the 5200 sq pack

I have 2 of each listed above. They came with my Rc10B5r when I bought it. The 2 nano have more punch. Later I bought their newer 4600 Shorty at 90c. making it the best of the 5 batts I use. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...strSearch=4600

I don't have another brand to compare to. Only a 25c saddle pack that came with my 44.2 and it seems weak vs. the other saddle set I have that is Turnigy.

I've been using the vant 4600 mah Shorty's. Lots of punch for stock class and last a long time for practice packs. Cheap and great performance. Can't complain.

I'm running the A Spec shorties in mod. Great packs, comparable to any of the top brands.

the nanotech packs are decent for mod. After a few months, their IR seems to climb more so than higher quality packs. I only use 1 pack per car myself. The vant are ok, I just dislike the extra holes. Their IR is a little high than the nanotechs out of the box. again for mod, they are fine and fine short term for stock.

I don't know why you guys buy those junk batteries when you can get SMCs domestically for the same price or cheaper. SMC has my seal of approval.

What if I told you that the SMC lipos and the "junk" lipos were all made in the same place?

So as an example the 4400mAh Factory Spec 60C Shorty Pack for $32.95 ?

Prices look awesome on the website.
