3 lipos for 1 car? 2 is more than enough. If you're running modified the Reedy #738 wolf pack is more than enough. If you're running stock... If probably get the more expensive higher C packs.

I have a 3800kv castle motor in awesome shape. Would you race that in modified with a wolfpack?

Original plan was to run stock but I could run mod.

Four seems to be the best though. I currently have three and can only two at once on my charger. I get backed up often and I charge at a conservative 8 amps. Running mod class. So I often have to wait for batteries.

Agreed. I used to carry only 2 lipos for my ebugg but sometimes i practiced a little longer and my heat was up first and i didnt have a battery to use... 4 is what i used for short coarse and that was perfect. Never had a shortage of practice time and was always ready to run.

Is anyone running modified racing with 25c lipo packs? Hows the speed? I have a 3800kv mmp setup from my sct that im thinking about using instead of 17.5 spec.

If you are looking for the 45$ mark you can get the Turnigy

Wow huh

I charge at 6 amps 2 packs per car... I'm never waiting on a pack. Maybe if I practice on one pack for like 15 min. Once racing starts I only use like 1800mah at most.

Charge at a higher rate. I routinely charge at 16amp (about 4c)with no issues.

I have one of their packs, and I cannot tell the difference, It cycles on my gfx only slightly less average voltage and my team scream pack.
