I've run a milled chassis with both 17.5 and 13.5. The faster your going the more you notice it. Since i run outdoors and have had to start running a heavy chassis liner, its not as substantial of a weight savings....I think my thicker chassis tape adds 12g. Anyway, the harder you push the car with the milled chassis, the more it seems to react.

I'm considering the AE Lite chassis or even the SLRC chassis for racing modified on hard packed/clay, what do you mean exactly by the way it 'reacts'? More traction?

Its a combo. It obviously works better when there's enough traction but once you hit the traction threshold, you literally feel it more the faster you go. For example, I enter our 2 big sweepers at a much higher rate of speed with my 13.5 than with my 17.5 and it seems like the chassis gives more with the 13.5 car. Both cars have a very similar set up. Its like socket already said, the milled chassis is suitable for more than just stock.

A: The best way is to get a second #9603 pad and use the #7495 Vented V2 Slipper Hubs to make a true two-pad slipper.

Can I still use the stock VTS spring/spring adapter/locknut when I go to this 2-pad system? Or do I need to use the one from the b4.2 kit?
Just use the new (B5) spring/spring adapter/locknut.

Whats a yz2? I've been running b5m and rb6 since last summer.....mostly the b5m. I also run an rt6, t5m, sct410, b44.3, sc6....no yz2.

I am curious as to who put my setup on petit rc. I have some updates for it and it would be much easier to supply the setup sheet properly instead of the text version.

Our layout has had a few pipes moved and has increased average speed a bit. Lap times have dropped about 1-1.5s and with only 2.5 runs on the track saturday I still feel there's a good .5s to be found on consistency basis.

I would email them directly, their email address is at the top of the setup sheet page.

These seem to get me to having too much steering on our indoor clay track. When traction comes up i just move these settings the opposite way to stabilize it.
This is very similar to what I run, make sure the c-hubs are centered in the arm, I have 2mm on the rack though. I also prefer long front link, and I keep my battery inline, but I have ran it sideways forward, with the speedo in the rear and it's pretty similar. (less work to try it out).

Does anyone know if this exists and can be purchased? The JConcepts Aluminum Wing mount for B5m. I see the aluminum shim is available, but I cannot find anything on the wing mount itself.

I've read through about 1/6th of this thread, and want a reasonably priced motor and ESC. I have tried to scour before asking, but don't really know what I am doing spec'ing this stuff.

I feel like Hobbywing makes the most sense from a cost perspective, and would probably run a 10.5 or 11.5 setup. http://www.fiercercsolutions.com/All-HW-Combos_c25.htm

I look on here, but it looks like all they have in stock is the Justock stuff. Can someone point me in a direction for a $100-$150 nice motor/ESC setup?

Indoor carpet track, but might play outside sometime. I am not looking to be competitive, mainly to have fun. Thank you!
