Looks a good bit more than started. LOL Man I want one...no idea why really but I want a kit to build so it might as well be the new AE.

Not really. Looking at it it looks exactly that same in terms of available real-estate for mounting electronics. Not insanely tight, just enough room, but the servo area up front looks so foreign.

What combo? I never heard Airtronics is making motors... 219 bucks for a ESC! Not sure what class your running in but you can get a Tekin RS spec 17.5 combo for under 200 bucks.

he built the car with alum rear hexes, but didnt feel the alum pin brace was usefull, or maybe its not in yet. He also didnt use the VTS, and by the size of the spur, I assume 17.5. I think the electronics space look bigger than I expected. My HW v2.1 with 4 cap bank might not fit though. But my viper should fit easy with my rx471 receiver. The servo area will support a full sized servo, so that should be fine. But if you strip out those servo holes.....you need a new chassis.....so no power tools, lol. Might be able to get the transponder in that channel with the servo wires and mount the transponder up front cleanly. Some of the plastic look pretty beefy like the rear rubs.

he was refering to the sanwa esc/receiver combo for built in telemetry. And the M12 can adjust its setting remotely from the transmitter. Nice, but the UI for it on the radio is about as good as the led cards with number mapped to a chart.

Making adjustments from the transmitter might open up tuning possibilities. Though I don't adjust my speed control often I'd like it if I could change drag brake settings and toggle reverse on and off (for un-marshalled practice) from the driver's stand. Really involved racers could do much more.

How much range do you get with blue tooth like the Speed Passion stuff has?

Maybe countersink on bottom, run up and use a nut?

like 10 feet, lol. And the adapter needs to be connected to the esc. The sanwa "looks" like a better tech. If I had a m12, i would order one to try. monitoring temps and voltages from the radio might be really nice.

Couple that stuff with the $500 transmitter and you will be all set!

There's always Helicoil but the composite plastic may not hold it well permanently.
