Yeh thanks , i run 17.5 blinky generally , a small indoor track has started up racing carpet , the quick guys are running 10.5 , although i am very competitive with the 17.5 i need a bit more power to compete for wins and dont want to change motor as this is really just something on the side that i do to support the track with numbers . It is alot of fun regardless :-)

Has anybody tried the 2.5+1 arm mount in 17.5? I think I may try it, but we don't race for three weeks. I'll have to learn to drive all over again anyway.

My local track is the same conditions (high bite) and I run Panther Slicks but want to try the Proline Primes. Any thoughts.

I can't find a 2.5+1. Does it come with the kit?
I did find a 2.5+2.

I haven't run boosted in a very long time, but I think you will need smaller pinion than 30. Of course it all depends on how aggressive you are with the boost.

You should be able to run 2.5 + 1 with the C block inserts

Running boost in 17.5 depends on alot things. How much boost, how big of a track, how hot your motor runs now. If you only need a little .try gearing down a few teeth and up the boost 5% at a time. But watch the motor temps real close.

The 2.5 + 1's are the same insert as 2.5 + 2's , you flip them and change sides.

finally got my wires under the battery. i used two layers of double sided tape to raise the battery up enough to not wobble on the wires. i did this at the track. i'm pretty sure the kit came with some spacers for the battery tray. I need to get them out of the box and see whats up with them. if i still have to use double sided tape, i'll probably shrink wrap it so it'll look a little nicer lol. as you can tell, i love shrink wrap hahaha. i have my new trinity battery coming (REV2022-5 REVTECH Formula X Shorty 100C 2S). can't wait to try this thing out. my buddy just had to let me borrow his 90C trakpower...and man there was a huge difference over my 65C turnigy a-spec battery. granted there is also a huge difference in price...over double.
