Even if the hole for the axle is too big, the hex will hold it in place.

On my short course truck I had problems with the wheels not running true because the wheel center hole didn't fit the axle. I took some 1/8 striping tape and wrapped the axle just outside the hex until the wheel fit snug. Easy fix and the wheel fits better

Anyone running on an 1/8 scale track? The track I ran at had a 1/10 clay track, but it closed. I'm now at a 1/8 blue groove track. I'm running my E-buggy, but I want to get the B5 back on the track! They said to setup 1/10 for rough tracks. Anyone have a starting setup for a 1/8 track?

Here would be my setup for outdoor track with the b5:

Front: Flat front arms and tower, 3x1.4s (or 2x1.6s) 30wt Green spring, Middle on tower, outer on arm, 1mm on inner ballstud, inner on castor block, 3mm trailering (with all manual suggestions i.e. center castor block and 1mm on ackerman bar) 14 grams in front of servo.

Rear: 3x1.4s 25-27.5wt (depending on traction) black or green spring (also depending on traction black for low traction), Inner on tower, inner on arm, B hub tower one step longer link in up position, 0mm on inner camber block, .5 degree hub inserts (if you have aluminum c mount can go 3.5 degrees and if more traction is needed also run .5 hub inserts for 4 degrees of total toe) I would try rear hubs centered first but if more traction is needed push them forward.

Hope this helps again this is what I would run.

Has anyone compared the AE FT Ti Screw Kit, Schelle Ti Upper Screw kit, and Lundsford Ti Screw kit?

I know the Schelle kit only replaces the upper screws, but which one would be better in the long run as far as durability?

The Schelle kit says they are higher grade than the "other" screws available (not sure if they are referencing AE, Lunsford, or someone else.)

For anything Ti I would only use Lunsford. Made right here in US and is guaranteed grade 5.

I can think of more than one person that has. You also should buy two kits, so you have backups.

The AE/protek kit aren't bad, but the lunsford is world class.
