I think we are going to see this over and over. Nothing about the lite car makes it stock only. If you need weight you can add it.

Trailing axle inserts--Can the insert be moved back and forth without wrecking the setup? Like how critical is it to move the front wheelbase at the same time?

The screw should always go on the "passenger side" of the vehicle. If installed on the other side, the rotation will cause the diff adjustment to loosen.

So by installing it in this "correct" position it will then cause the diff to tighten?? We really need a whole thread dedicated to this subject. As said earlier, it does not matter which side it goes in. If you were to break a thrust (how often does that happen?) it could matter, but it is up to you on which side it is easier adjusted from.

How many grams of weight to you save going to Titanium screws on the B5M?

Then your thrust bearing isn't working. If it loosens while accelerating (or going left hand corner for example) it would then tighten while braking (or going right hand corner for the example).
exotek slipper emininator screws are comfirmed to be 3x5mm. i contacted them directly. just incase anyone else wants to lighten the rotational mass even more.

I read in the range of 30-35 grams if replacing all the screws with titanium. I have not done mine yet though to verify...and when i do i dont plan on doing all of them, probably skip the underside screws.
why would u skip the pan screws? i did the full kit swap and it was pretty quick todo. i waited to rebuild my diff before i did the trans
If you did not adjust the other stuff you would be messing with ackerman and that could alter the car a bit. Why don't you try it and tell us how it altered your car's drive-ability?
Speaking of pan screws.. I can't wait to hear about how such and such removed every other screw or loosened them x amount of turns and now his car is dialed.

I need $20 more stuff so I can apply a Tower Hobbies coupon. Or, I could add $50 more stuff to apply a different coupon.
What would you guys get for a B5M for $20 or $50? I have some spare front arms already but that's about it.
I'm running a 13.5 motor.
Racing on a pretty tight carpet track with pin tires so super high grip and I already have the stuff below installed.
Gear diff
3 gear tranny
Aluminum rear hubs
Aluminum hexes
Ti turnbuckles
Ti front axles
Sway bar kit
Red front springs
Blue rear springs
Aluminum steering set
