Thanks for the info guys, I'll run the ball diff and build the gear diff with 1000cst and have it ready to go in the toolbox.

It matters if your thrust fails, that is all, in the right way, the diff will tighten and you can finish a race, on the left side, it will loosen.

If the screw is on the right side and the thrust fails, big if, the diff will loosen if the left wheel spins and tighten if the right wheel spins.
If you put the screw on the left side, the same thing happens.
As already stated, it doesn't matter.

Yeah, I have people tell me it matters all the time, and I'm like, dude, 4wd ball diffs. The front is in backwards. Logic!

If it matters, why does TLR have you put it on the opposite side?

If it matters it would only be because of a fitting problem (if not symmetrical). If it fits then it's almost certainly symmetrical.
Otherwise is it was symmetrical and somehow mattered then it would mean the car would diff better turning right hand than left hand (or the opposite).
PS: BTW I went cheap to try out the 3° antisquat without the whole brass/aluminium parts by putting a 1mm washers under the C 3+2 arm mount (sandwiched by each screws).

For guys who were wondering about the Lite Chassis weight, it is 104g.
Savings of about 25g over the original.
