So anyone know if there is going to be a B5 to B5M Lite conversion kit? I converted my son's B5R to B5M and almost just bought another conversion kit for my B5R. But if a B5M lite conversion is coming out I will wait.

http://www.redrc.net/2015/02/mip-b5m...nsmission-set/

Seen for the first time at the recent Reedy Offroad Race of Champions MIP now officially introduce the 3-gear transmission set for the Team Associated B5M buggy. The often debated question among stock class racers is whether to use a rear or mid motor setup as with a mid motor better corner speeds can be achieves whereas a rear motor layout leads to less drag and more initial punch. The new MIP Box 7075 aluminium 3-gear transmission for the Team Associated B5M bridges that gap and gives the mid motor buggy all the benefits of the rear motor car but less drag and more initial punch. Not only does the transmission eliminate one idler gear to equate to less drag but its all aluminium construct offers a huge advantage pertaining to more precise internal gear mesh, less overall heat, and stiffer bracing. The gearbox is a direct fit on the B5M and the set includes two gearbox halves, a blue anodized motor plate, gear cover and small parts.

http://www.redrc.net/2015/02/rdrp-b5...ront-bulkhead/

New from Revolution Design Racing Products comes the multi option aluminum front bulkhead for the Team Associated B5, B5M and T5M kits. Adding to the recently released brass bulkhead the alloy version first and foremost adds visual impact and rigidity while offering a slightly increased weight compared to the standard plastic part. The bulkhead is made from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium material and it comes blue anodised and laser-etched to match the remainder of RDRP’s option parts. Included is also an aluminium front suspension pin brace to round out the factory look and to help add rigidity and precision. On top of that the included delrin bulkhead inserts allow to run 25 degree or 30 degree wishbone kick-up to further fine-tune the steering characteristics without having to swap the whole bulkhead.

5x10 bearings to match the 3 gear and improved gear mesh. Uses same topshaft for 3 and 4 gear.

The B5 accepts a larger pinion. Not sure about the D4.

I've been neglecting the RC news the past year. Who makes the D4?

I don't run a B5M but what is the deal with some saying that the 3 gear mid motor is more for stock than with mod motors ? Ive tried the 3 gear mid motor with my buggy on a 8.5 and its easier to drive and handle than a 4 gear .
