not sure if this has been mentioned but the guy from RC Insider said that they were running the control tire of the reedy race, and by color of the track SDRC and OCRC are definitely not the same type of surface. So if the B5m looked good enough on SDRC is going to be sweet on a truer clay track.

The graphite b4 chassis was too stiff so we know it's easy enough to make a stiff molded chassis and a flat aluminum plate with no bracing is quite flexy. I'd be interested to hear a more detailed explanation of the decisions.

Because the RM car has been in the design phase for nearly 2 years, long before the MM craze hit, which is why you can get the RM 6-8 weeks earlier.

The RM was designed completely around brushless motors and lipo batteries. I've been told it is hugely faster than a B4.x, anyone who choses RM wont be disappointed.

I think rear would be faster quicker, for most people because thats what we are use too. But once you put the time in with the MM it'll be just as fast or faster. I'm in a tight spot because my main track could be a blown out 1/8th track sometimes, and other times its not. And I also race sometimes in the winter over in the states, where MM is the more obvious choice.

That is unrealistically optimistic. Assuming the same wheelbase, track width, weight, and tires, the potential for that kind of gain does not exist.

Ya well I am still out front with the B4.2? I pass on the C4.2 and still win! Looking foward to the build and new springs diff&out drives.

I like what they did to the underside of the chassis, and they commented on it in the video too: the lack of screws underneath. VERY clean! And no holes that aren't used because of different positions and so on. I've never used a chassis protector before but for this clean piece of aluminum I think I will..

Regarding battery placement...nobody knows if using saddles it will be possible to place a pack in the rear, instead of the electronics? Maybe to gain traction for very low traction tracks?

Nope, there's a wall between the battery and the electronics. The position you see on the photos is the rearmost position.

Has anyone been able to verify that there are now "channels" to run servo/transponder wires without having to cut the chassis? All pictures I have found have electronics installed

Nevermind, I was able to see from the raw chassis picture that there is a large center chanel with cut outs for the connectors

From all I have seen and read the MM was in the works long before the MM craze last year. The MM was planned right along with the RM, just as it was on the 22 and RB6. I have driven the B4's and the B4 with the centro kit. Both are capable of winning a race on any given day, but they drive like night and day difference in my opinion. I am no pro but I plan to give both RM and MM a try. I think the focus of the factory teams seems to be leaning more and more towards MM. It will be interesting to see if MM stays around as the go to chassis.
