Need some advice. I just purchased a B5 RM and will start to race it as a third class. I got a pair of front arms already, but want to know what other parts I should stock up on.
I was thinking of a wing as well. If so, what wing would you recommend (durable).

Running the inline setup changes how quickly the car reacts when changing direction. So, if you feel like your car is a little lazy in a chicane or some quick corners at your track, then maybe it might be a good idea to change your setup. Or if you just want a car that reacts a little quicker and sharper, the inline setup might be right for you. The driver is the only one who can make that judgment just trying to give you a little insight. Some people love it and some people prefer the standard setup.

So I broke my first part this weekend... after my main. Car didn't break on the track, rather on the pit table. I was going to let a friend drive my car after our race... and while my battery was charging, I decided I wanted to tighten down my diff just a hair, as it felt a little on the loose side. The second I put ANY tension on the diff bolt, it snapped like a tooth pick. My 6 month old son could have broken the thing it snapped so easily. Needless to say, my buddy didn't get a test drive.
I bought an MIP replacement... hopefully it holds up better?

switched my car to inline setup this weekend and loved it had alot more steering and corner speed and less roll. I think having for over 20 years ran batteries inline just feels and looks right having that way.

I will post it up on the front page when it becomes available.

4gear on-throttle = weight is transferred to the rear tires creating an on-power push
3gear on-throttle = weight is traferred to the front tires creating on-power steering (less forward traction)
The same opposite affect will be felt with braking. One will put more pressure on the rear tires under braking, and the other will put more pressure on the front tires. Although I haven't thought about it enough to know which does which.
My prediction is that if you run on a high-grip track where forward traction is in abundance, the MM3 will be THEE setup to run.
