I would think that releasing a non FT version KIT would be pointless. The majority of these will go to racers and the newbies and bashers can wait for the RTR if they have one. Not being able to run a nimh and normal size 2s pack I think may push these guys elsewhere unless maybe a package deal.

I am getting a MM to pair with my RM .2 which I run, when I have time , a shorty anyways..

I have not seen anything. If the FT kit did come out it would be like 2015 and by that time all the aftermarkets will have the bling out.

I would prefer a "factory team" kit but I'm willing to bling this kit as I see fit.

Too bad the entire RM car is pointless since.."RM is So Dead"

You'll see a "FT" version by May or June...IMO

if it even takes them that long.

Thank you AE for not putting another $300 +++ dollar buggy on the market.
Some 2wd buggies cost as much as some touring cars not cool...
It makes sense to keep the prices low if they just came out with a new kit a year ago.

I am glad they are doing a team kit. Gives the aftermarket companies a chance to release more things for the buggy so you can customize it to your liking. I hated that my B4.2 looked like everyone else's so I stripped all the blue off, ect. I actually miss the days of getting to upgrade only the things you want to upgrade. The kit and a set of Lunsfords and I am set. Keeps it more affordable to the masses. I bet at least a year before you see a factory team version.

6 months to 1 year on the FT would be my guess. I am on the fence about waiting for the ft also. I will probably just pickup a light used kit on the forums that some already blinged, lol.

I just want to drive it and see how it it different. The Reedy Race will be cool to see what tweaks the pros have already done.

So you want to pay 12-25 bucks for a set of aluminum hexes, 10-15 bucks for aluminum bell cranks, and 25+ bucks for turnbuckles vs. AE including them all for about another $20 in the kit? All so the aftermarket companies can make more $$. Help me understand your thinking..

for me, I dont really car for the AE turnbuckles. The bend more than the lunsfords and lunsford has a life time warranty against bend/break. I would only get the alum rack it was needed. if its built well, plastic should be fine for 17.5. But yeah, gonna need those hexes.
