Peak motors made by kyosho any one else see something strange here with orion and them?

I know copies like this arent rare but i have never seen anything this close? are kyosho and orion togther? is that why jared tebo is on both teams?

So I thought Hobby Wing owned Team Orion? Kyosho buy it from them?

I think they come from the same fractory, and I think orion would own hobby wing if anything, because hobby wing isn't really a big company

HW is oem of the alot esc's. They make Team Orion esc's and others. They made SP for years.

this is from Friday, May 25, 2007.....

Pretty sure I read Team Orion is owned by HW now.

I love Orion products but the latest motors are too pricey and the Peak is a little cheaper. I just received my Peak 8.5 yesterday and will try out this weekend.

Kyosho owns orion. Orion = peak like lrp = nosram

Orion is just a customer of hw. Before hw they used ko propo to make orion esc. Like how orion servos are made by savox

orion/peak relationship goes back to the late 90's/early 2000's if I remember correctly.

I would just like to add, that I like the canoe shaped tabs on the motor... they look like they are not only real solid but give a good surface contact to solder on.

yes, and you should not have to worry about wires getting too close as they can't "slide" during install.
