Haha, this plastic galore 2WD truck would have to be $65 to compete with the Tamiya deal

Someone should start a generic hot deals thread.

Too bad I really don't need a truggy as I would have loved the TRF. I hear it was actually a pretty good kit.

How much was Tower selling them for?

The trf? yeah, I saw a few for for sale. I was just: nobody going to pay 400 for a roller, that new now sells for 99 shipped.

I was actually talking about the desc210 but it could apply to both i guess. I've already fell victim to the price cut on Durangos. Bought a new 2010spec dex410 back when they were just released. At the time had no idea being new to the 1/10 hobby, about brands. 3 mths after I shelled out $650 they dropped the price by $200. I do realize that you gotta make $$ back but I'm not fond of these high release prices then price slashes shortly after.

I have heard the durango brand may be up for sale again soon that tower thought it would do a lot better. Dunno how much truth there is in that but I've had this thing in my cart twice almost pulling the trigger

For the price they're selling them now, if it's a class you want to run and want to save some $, is a good deal. For me, I'll never buy a Durango again.
