It's just ever so slight. If the reedys go in without looking like they need the modded brace will get a new brace.

With the terminals back we had to slightly relieve the strap just to make sure the bullets don't contact the strap. Non issue with the shorty packs we have.

Gotcha. Have some shorty packs but want to stay with saddles for the car for weight distribution reasons. Very little needed to be removed.

Kellen, how was your car at IERC for the JBRL race?

No issues with SMC saddles. I've got their squares on pre-order so I hope to be getting them pretty soon.

Spent some time working on setup for the car last night and it's in a pretty good place right now.

I must say though, I've had Kyosho shocks on all my cars and this one will be no different. As I was pulling off the serpent shocks I noticed 2 of them had a lot of side play. I'm not sure if Kyosho's tolerances are that much better or what because the basics of everyone's seal pack is basically the same. However this will allow me to use all the pistons I already have.

If anyone wants some backup serpent shocks let me know.

Besides the shocks I'm very happy with the car. Stock roll center setup I haven't messed with much but I do like 25deg caster.

The one area on the track that needs a bit of work is the high speed sweeper. Going to cut the wing down some more as the first cutting helped.

In summary... really liking the car... but really loving it with Kyosho shocks.

The MM when released had the updated chassis and bulkhead included in the kits, so this should not have been such an issue as before with the RM car. It is composite and of course one still can break, but it should take an act of God these days with the updated parts.

Do it! And hopefully you'll like it enough to add a "Serpent Parts House" to the mix. It would be nice to have a local online shop with in stock Serpent parts support.

Btw, it was cool meeting you at LRH last Sunday.

Here is my WRL 3.5 setup from a couple weekends ago at sparks park, the car felt very balanced and i was happy with my 4th overall, 2 down 2 narrow pivit seemed to give this car more forward traction.

I run the Midmotor outdoors on low-medium bite. The car is actually more forgiving than my rear motor and easier to be consistent. Zero complaints!

For the guys that are using the pills 2down/narrow pivot are you also moving the inner ball stud up or removing the 1mm spacer to give even more roll?

Cheers
