Serpent Spyder SRX-2 Mid Motor Buggy Thread

With the terminals back we had to slightly relieve the strap just to make sure the bullets don't contact the strap. Non issue with the shorty packs we have.

Tech Regular

No issues with SMC saddles. I've got their squares on pre-order so I hope to be getting them pretty soon.
Spent some time working on setup for the car last night and it's in a pretty good place right now.
I must say though, I've had Kyosho shocks on all my cars and this one will be no different. As I was pulling off the serpent shocks I noticed 2 of them had a lot of side play. I'm not sure if Kyosho's tolerances are that much better or what because the basics of everyone's seal pack is basically the same. However this will allow me to use all the pistons I already have.
If anyone wants some backup serpent shocks let me know.
Besides the shocks I'm very happy with the car. Stock roll center setup I haven't messed with much but I do like 25deg caster.
The one area on the track that needs a bit of work is the high speed sweeper. Going to cut the wing down some more as the first cutting helped.
In summary... really liking the car... but really loving it with Kyosho shocks.

I run the Midmotor outdoors on low-medium bite. The car is actually more forgiving than my rear motor and easier to be consistent. Zero complaints!

For the guys that are using the pills 2down/narrow pivot are you also moving the inner ball stud up or removing the 1mm spacer to give even more roll?
