And yes, the front wheels need to dremel down the face of the hex area. Essentially the hex portion rubs on the hub. You need to shave it down to where it is even with the "ribs" of the inner wheel

Takes all of 5 minutes on both wheels at the most.

Thanks for the tip. I wonder if we can get the OP to add stickies re: build tips, mods, etc.

Just the carbide diff balls. My RM has the aluminum front pivot, so I have a spare plastic one if I manage to break one.

Build notes (will update as I progress through the build):

Steering assembly includes steel washers now instead of the flimsy aluminum ones

Savox 1257/1258 servo only needs a single thin shim to line up properly

Ball cups look like a different material

Ream out the rear arms. They are tight!!

Manual shows the wrong RF hinge pin holder on the zoomed view. Go by the exploded view on step 16 and the stock setup sheet. Should be 1 down front, 2 down rear

Diff spring looks updated. No binding!

Transmission binds until you crank down all the screws. Looks like the mold has very tight tolerances. Spins free after all the screws are snug

Black gear cover! Need one of these for the RM too.

RM Body will not line up fully with the MM chassis, slightly different angle at rear of chassis.

I had binding in the tranny on my RM buggy. I had to sand out some of the inside of the male half of the case and it spins free now. Probably the same for this buggy too.

Ya on the rear motor it doesn't really bind, just don't tighten the bolts all the way. Just use threadlock on the motor plate holes and stop tightening right when the screws bottom.
