Hey guys im getting the mm this week. Is this a good car for stock racing out of the box?
If i do race stock are guys using a shorty in stock and a saddle for mod?

Ran my recently acquired MM buggy today on an outdoor track. Car was AWESOME. No idea of the set up, I got it used....lol. Tires where not perfect for the track, but the car was great. It has a 17.5 in it and I will probably be putting a 10.5 for a little more speed. Car was just great, couldn't be happier with it.

No the Serpent Balast weight for the MM. It wedges in front of the motor.

soft setup
I race at Mimis "The Track" in Gathersburg, MD hard pack clay. I already ordered the softest 2.0 orange spring for the rear and was looking for the softest 2.5 front spring.
My thinking is in 2wd buggy the more traction you can maintain with a soft setup the better the lap times as long as you don’t bottom out. Anyone agree?
