Kit setup is really good, but like anything driver style, track, traction will definitely impact potential changes that may be needed. I ran a shorty for stock, and was satisfied, although I didn't get to experiment much..

I run the shorty with the balast on most medium to high bite tracks. On really low bite tracks I run just the shorty no balast or my rm.

Thats a really soft spring for the front. What kind of track do you race on?

Ran my recently acquired MM buggy today on an outdoor track. Car was AWESOME. No idea of the set up, I got it used....lol. Tires where not perfect for the track, but the car was great. It has a 17.5 in it and I will probably be putting a 10.5 for a little more speed. Car was just great, couldn't be happier with it.

No the Serpent Balast weight for the MM. It wedges in front of the motor.

Wouldn't you want the balast on the low bite track?

Default soft setup

I race at Mimis "The Track" in Gathersburg, MD hard pack clay. I already ordered the softest 2.0 orange spring for the rear and was looking for the softest 2.5 front spring.

My thinking is in 2wd buggy the more traction you can maintain with a soft setup the better the lap times as long as you don’t bottom out. Anyone agree?

I will be up mimis either this weekend or next and will get a base setup. I haven't ran on the new track yet so it's hard to tell. Billy Easton just posted a new setup on Facebook it's for stock but I'm gonna try it in mod

For anyone running kyosho springs, what seems to work best for medium to low bite?
