B44.3 Worlds Edition?
Do you guys think that Associated will release a newer version of the 44.2? I drove a fellow racers a couple of weeks ago and really liked how it drives. I'm in the market for a wheeler but was thinking of holding off a little with all the talk of drivers running aluminum chassis on there 44.2s and now winning the Worlds.

Your right Panda, I was just sitting here looking at Hartsons car in Car Action and noticed he ran the Avid chassis and prototype front and rear gear diffs. I actually run all Losi but am not sold on the 22-4 yet.

I'm not 100% on the 22-4 yet either so I picked up a another B44.2 with all the avid goodies. I'm pretty excited to compare it to my last .2 and my XXX4 project. From what I hear the extra weight really plants the car...

Lakers I was thinking the same thing with the weight. The tracks I run on are far from smooth. That's what's going to make my final decision between the 44 or any other brand.

They're not prototype diffs. They are Durango diffs with a conversion made by a guy in Australia.

It seems that most companies release a updated version of a new kit.. as the R+D continues through out the selling of the first version top racers are already running the .2 mods which will be released at a later stage.
That Is Marketing
I am always hesitant on buying a newly released kit these days because a .2 version is soon to follow which is much more refined and usually will save you excessive costs of upgrades.

Im running the Novak Vulcan 13.5 and Brushless Hobbies LT4. Thats what I ran in my last .2 and it worked great. I really like these Vulcan motors, they seem to have alot of torque so hopefully it moves the car around the track. With all of my electronics in the car it definitely feels heavier then my last car. I'll have to let you guys know how it goes after I run it at the races tomorrow.
