Gotta love the net, even if it's little more than entertainment sometimes.
It was interesting to see the changes that most of the team, or the big guns on the team, went with for the Worlds on that car. Seemed to me, that the .2 was a bit unusually hard on the rear ring and pinion in stock form. At least more so that the .1 it replaced, which oddly enough had the same rear ring and pinion. Only thing I could figure out was there was something between the extra 8mm they added to the chassis and the VTS slipper that for what ever reason didn't want to play nice with the rear ring and pinion. I'm sure AE will be on it and have it fixed on the next gen.
I'd hope they do something for the Worlds winning car, like what they did on the B4.1, would make the most sense to me, but if they're close to the next gen, probably won't happen.

I personally am not looking forward to gear diffs! They all tell me it makes the car super aggressive and edge-y.

Gear diffs? Oh bouy. I'm right there with ya. I think as an option, in the right conditions, would probably be what's needed. For general usage, not too sure on that. Yet, it seems that is the way the trend is going.
