Default Tekin RX8 or Hobbywing sct pro

Hey guys, jeep help deciding. I'll be running a tenshock sc411 4600kv motor but need to decide which ESC. Should I spend the extra money for the RX8 gen 2 or should I ge the hobbywing 120A ESC? Also this is going in a losi scte. Thanks for our time and help!

I can tell you there are two differences in my opinion. I own them both. First, the service from Tekin can't be beat. Item number two which in my opinion is essential for the SCT trucks. The trucks have a tendency to jump nose down. The Tekin has push control which corrects this problem. You cannot get this in the Hobbywing.

If it were for an 1/8th buggy, I would probably tell you the Hobbywing is fine.

There is currently an issue when using Hobbywing esc and Tenshock motor.

I run a Hobbywing SCT Pro with a Tekin T8. Great combo and under $250 total!

Default Tekin

Very Poor if any support offered for the HObby Wing, Tekin hands down, you get what you pay for in RC electronics

This is misleading info IMO HW is great and many will agree they both have their issues but both of them have great cs. I run SCT pro in my ebuggy then I a ran an rx8 and now I'm back the the SCT pro it's a great esc best deal you can get on a 1/8 esc that's very reliable, powerful and smooth. I run tekin motors and HW esc's can't beat it

HW for sure to me! they both perform well and probably last about the same time. sct pro i thought is a bit smoother than rx8 in my experience. but nothing can beat HW price! spend $219 or $89 is the question....hint...hint.
