Default hexagonal or cross wheels?

Hi guys

(hope it will be sound clear enough)
I want to buy rear wheels for 1/10 scale 4WD buggy and I am not sure if it is the ones with the cross inside or the hexagonal?

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...AdvancedSearch

I need the cross.

Thanks
Eran

They are wheels that use the pin the drive the wheel? Hmmm,is this for a b44.1? I'm not aware of a place that carries those wheels. Try ebay maybe?

The Jconcepts Rulux rim exclusively uses cross pins, I had them on my b44.1 and they looked pretty cool actually.

You can get rulux wheels with a 12mm hex though.

no they don't, not for a 2.2 (b44.1/b4.1) rim. They make them for bigger rims.

my $.02, I'd convert it. Hex is stronger, and it'll open up your choices of not only wheels and tires, but pre-mounts as well.

You said The Jconcepts Rulux rim exclusively uses cross pins, so I said that you can get them in 12mm hex, I didn't say they would fit a buggy though.

being that the OP said it was for a 4WD buggy, I figured it was obvious that i meant theyre exclusively cross pin for that vehicle. Sorry for the confusion.

It's ok, I don't understand why they don't make them in a 2.2 hex, I think they look really good too, I bet they would sell pretty well with the club racing scene.

i agree, Im sure theyve done prototypes with 12 mm and it just didnt make sense for them to manufacture them.
