Exclamation Hard to rotate my pinion gear

Hello everyone.

My car is " Inferno ve race spec"

I just switched my motor to vortex 8 2050kv "team orion" after my last motor got broken from inside " i dont know how"

Anyway ... my pinion gear whom attached to the new motor is hard to rotate by hand though my past motor pinion gear was easy as a pie to rotate by hand.

My question .... Should i worry about this?
Should i switch my pinion gear to another one?

Thanks for reading and any helping post would be approciated

It should be hard to move, it means that the magnets are really strong as it should be on a brand new motor. Orion are solid motors.

Loosen the motor can screws. If the rotor spins better check the rotor shims.

well your last motor broke "you don't know how" and now you are having issues with the new one? Perhaps the problem isn't the motors

Wow... Do yourself a favor and find a local track or hobbyshop that can help you. I think you might need more explained to you than we can do here since we can't see what you are talking about, or see things you might not know are a problem.

If you don't take my advice you are going to have a very frustrating and expensive learning curve.
