Default Tamiya Nitro Thunder

Hi all, Im a long time reader, First time Poster.

I am currently driving an electric and want to get into Nitro. I am looking at buying the Tamiya Nitro Thunder. I like the idea of RTR and i have heard all good things about Tamiya.

I would love some other peoples thoughts on the Tamiya Nitro Thunder.

Sorry if i sound stupid too!!

Tamiya's nitro buggies aren't exactly worthy of competition due to their entries (There isn't exactly a class for 1/10 scale 4WD nitro buggies), but they will be fine for bashing.

Cheers for that, Im not real interested in competing at this stage! but i was after a car that would be fairly tough and would give me more enjoyment than my electric car.

if in sydney, come into hobbyco. they sell some bugies that cost roughly the same as a tamiya and are 10X's stronger and proffessional.

you can get some really cool buggies cheap. try hobbyco or rc hobbies at petersham.

First, how much are you willing to spend? For 1/10 RTR nitro buggies theres the 4WD Kyosho TR-15 and the 2wd Duratrax Nitro Evader BX.1/8 Buggies are much bigger and are usually more expensive.
