Hey brandon, send racecase a private message about a set-up and he can get you headed in the right direction. He may chime in on here after while.

Try lighting up your shock oil I run 42.5f and 37.5 outdoors. I also have stood my rear shocks up more straight to help traction/rut rolling. 60g in back of chassis and 28g in front. 7/7/5 diff oil is where I'm at. I have my rx8 behind the servo aswell.

Are you using the stock springs and pistons? I have that oil with stock pistons and springs and it was bouncing around quite a bit. I do not have the added weight which I will do. Currently I have my Toro esc behind the motor, should I move it to behind the servo? Thanks for your help.

FYI.. For anyone running this truck I would suggest that on the body post that you cut the bottom little tab off and drill a hole and use a 2nd screw...

Default race day rebuild

Just finished going through my SCT and found something very interesting.
I was having steering issues on my last race and decided to bench the truck until I could sort it out. Well I found that one of the C-hub screws was gone and the other side one was loose. I have since upgraded to the aluminum hubs as of today. While upgrading to the AL C-hubs I found that one of my front arms was crack and have a pic for you all. I was amazed that given all these issues I still had placed 5 out of 8 for the day and I am a novice driver.

I will be getting my SCT10 truck together pretty soon. Full alloy pro kit with carbon fiber towers and V4 shocks. Should have it on track for a race at Washtenaw RC in Michigan. Has anyone else been racing their truck?

Nice driving ... what tires where you running?
also what radio are you using .. caught a glimpse of it in the previous video?

Just finished putting all the hop parts on my SCT and took it to the track for practice and what a difference. I let my eldest son drive it and he was shocked how different/better it was to drive. I am looking forward to our next race. As for some of the setup questions I am running 5k-f 7k-c 3k-r for diff oils and shock oils are 40 fr and 35 rear for a medium size track with semi smooth outdoor packed track with loose top soil.

Default chassis ?

is there anyone that has a good link to a updated chassis the is not plastic?
I would like to build one that does not create a divet into the front bottom pin holder on the chassis ... or does any want to sell one they have or trade I have a lot of extra aluminum hop up parts.
