I just put my KF on a serious diet! I was able to remove about 21g just by replacing the servo I guess I never paid attention to how much the DS1015 servo's weighed. I'm down around 1590g compared to over 1715g when I first started. I hope to test more this weekend. It's good to see this thread active again, it's been interesting seeing everyone's new set ups.

The track is a clay/dirt mix. Clay compounds do work the best but it does get dusty. We could never run slicks. I wouldn't say it's low bite, but it's certainly not "optimal" bite for the box stock design of the car, lol.

I picked up my car and some parts today, I'm pretty excited to get it together this weekend.

Nice, I got mine done over the weekend. I'm gonna give her a little shake down right after work today.

I did have a question for everyone? I'm just curious if anyone has had any issues with the U4160 aluminum rear blocks? I put a set on this car with the 2mm washers and it seems like the dogbone is really close to coming out of the outdrive. I went back to the 1mm and at full droop it is still a bit sketch, I just wanted to see how everyone was remedying this? Limiting shocks, not running them, etc, etc?

Are you using the new 3rd hole on the arms? If so youll have to limit droop alittle internally

I'm running limiters in my shocks but I have the shocks mounted on the back of the arms stock arms with the third hole drilled in them.

No I didn't do the 3 hole arms yet. I just did the kit arms mounted on the inside hole, no limiters in the shocks.

I ran mine like that when I first got it and had to add limiters in the shocks. I have two .030 nylon spacers in mine now.

Cool, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy or built it wrong. Do you have to do the same thing when you put these on the K1?

You shouldnt have any problems with 1mm... Mikes been running those for over a year and never had a problem. I run the plastic arm mounts on my cars

Thanks tony, I may switch back to the plastic mounts. Both of my dogbones popped out of the outdrives as soon as I flipped over today. The car was really fast but exiting a corner on power would break the rear end loose. I'm running Core springs front and rear, blue front, red rear, 30wt front, 25 rear. Both front and rear pistons drilled to 1.6, middle holes front and rear on the shock tower. I think this cat is goin to be really good after I spend some time with her, but any recommendations to change any of the setup I have is greatly appreciated

I would definetly try red fronts and white rears... try going out one hole on front tower, in one hole on rear tower. Try plastic mounts again and flip rear arms
