Default Team Durango DEX410 V4 Thread

It's on it's way!

http://www.team-durango.com/blog/201...ion-continues/

Team Durango are very excited to announce the upcoming release of the next generation of the DEX410 competition level 4WD electric racing Buggy.

The DEX410v4 represents the next evolution of the platform that has already added an IFMAR World title, a European title, multiple National titles, a TQ at the 2013 IFMAR Worlds and a Reedy Race win, to its global success. Both dedicated club racers and Pro Team Durango drivers have found success with the DEX410 platform on a wide range of track surfaces.

With 15 improvements to the already proven pedigree of the DEX410 platform, Team Durango presents a top-level 4WD racing Buggy that maintains the rich heritage of the globally recognised platform, whilst providing the most up-to-date design developments.

The DEX410v4 is currently in production, and many distributors will be taking orders under the new kit part number TD102030.

Stay tuned for more details and exclusive images very soon.

If heard on the grapevine that the new car is running, new arms, poss lwb chassis, UJ centre drive shafts, Body shell, flat chassis at rear and new rear bulkhead.

I wonder if it'll have the saddle chassis as seen at the worlds?? Or of it will run the normal 410 cell layout

That's a good call, I suppose it's already been made and in use on the 410 SC 4x4 truck, be a nice option to have....

The UJ shafts are already on the durango website for sale

Haven't yet ran my V3, first time friday night. But from what I've heard it kicks butt. Do I really need a V4?

Doubtful. V3 worked well for me once I added the rear brass skid plate.

^^^ This!

I have the v3 and it is such a solid car. I had the rear and side weights and ditched the side weights and the balance and roll in the air is so much less abrupt. With the side weights the car snap rolls so easily rearwards it can be tricky when correcting in mid air. As well the rear skid plate weight makes the rear end smooth so it loses the excavator-like characteristics of the plastic ones.

All you need are the 21░ Front Blocks and use the correct tires for your track and you should be golden.

do we have reasons ? cuz if we don'tů I'm waiting for the v20 with its electronically dampened ride and special carbo-tanium chassis, oh and forgot to mention the .00001 coefficient of drag body with active airodynamics.
