I have an older OS CV Hyper that runs at 210 degrees and gets about 10-12 mins on a tank in my XXXNT AD

rear exhaust orion wasp roar-offroad version, got 19 minutes out of it, on a short tight track. running about 210, on the old xxx-nt tank

I can't remember the model of it but the new OS .12 is pretty good as well. Lots of power and we got 17 minutes at one of our races.

My CVR at 210 will do around 10 minutes.

rear exhausts engines get better milage than side exhaust engines.

I prefer my O.S. .15 CV-X. I just broke it in today, but while I was idling it through it's first tank of gas, I got about 25-30 minutes of run time. The .15 is also got a lot of low end grunt, so it depends on if you want a little bit more guts out of your gas, or just a lot more running from your gas. The CV-X is also a side exhaust, and yes, it is true that the more efficient porting and airflow of rear exhaust engines do yield higher power output, and im most cases equal or better run times. The only issue with this is that generally a rear exhaust engine is generally more for outlaw racing, and has high performance features that jack up the price. If any of this is untrue, feel free to correct me.

rear exh are just as legal as sides, at least for truck offroad racing. It's the number of ports (more than 4, 3 plus exh port)that make them not legal for most races. They also have recently made turbo's legal. If you plan on racing at the larger events, 15's are not legal, unless it's the engine that came with it. like the RTR with the Mach 15.
